The Strathcona County Information and Volunteer Center (IVC) has announced a challenge in 2017 in recognition of Canada’s 150 years as a nation. In this special year, the challenge will celebrate the energies and contributions of volunteers across the County.
It will feature a platform that allows volunteers to register and track their volunteer hours. Those who register will be acknowledged with a certificate signed by our local MLA and MP, as well as a specially designed pin. IVC will also host a celebration for participants toward the end of the challenge.
SCCM has decided to register our volunteers for this challenge, and to create an internal challenge involving all our volunteers. We will receive more details from IVC on January 10th, and we will provide all details to you, our volunteers, at a special event on January 18th.
